Section 2 – Who are we?

Couture Larie is a distance-selling store operated by RR Verkoop, a company registered in the Netherlands. Our store is powered by Shopify Inc. “We”, “our” and “us” refer to RR Verkoop. The word “you” means the user or visitor of our website.

Section 3 – Age and use

By using this website, you confirm that you are at least sixteen years old or have the permission of a parent or guardian. Our store is for strictly personal use. Commercial use is prohibited. We reserve the right to refuse you access to our website at any time and for any reason.

Section 4 – Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We send you a confirmation by email, but this is not yet the final acceptance. Your order is only accepted when the parcel is shipped and you receive the shipping confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if the information is incorrect or if fraud is suspected. In that case, you will be fully refunded. By placing an order, you acknowledge that delivery is made under DDU terms and that you are responsible for all import obligations in your country.

Section 5 – Cancellation

Want to cancel your order? Contact us as soon as possible at info@couturelarie.com. We’ll do what we can, but we cannot guarantee it if the order has already been processed. Our return policy applies if the parcel has already been sent.

Section 6 – Products and prices

We try to display product colours as accurately as possible, but there may be variations depending on your screen. We cannot guarantee that all descriptions are completely free of errors. Prices may be changed without notice. In the event of an obvious pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel your order and we will inform you. We also reserve the right to restrict certain purchases by location or by person.

Section 7 – Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay and Apple Pay. All payments are processed through our payment partners. By entering your payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use them. Your full payment details are never stored on our servers. We are in no way responsible for any fees charged by your bank or payment provider.

Section 8 – Shipping and delivery

You will find all information about shipping and delivery times in our shipping policy. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by third parties, customs or circumstances beyond our control. Once the parcel has been handed to the carrier, the risk is transferred to the carrier. If your parcel is lost in transit, contact us at info@couturelarie.com. Orders are shipped from Asia. The customer is responsible for all customs and import obligations in their country of destination. Failure to comply with these obligations does not entitle you to a cancellation or refund.

Section 9 – Returns and refunds

You will find our full returns and refund policy on our website. You accept it by placing an order. Returns are only permitted with our prior written agreement. Please consult our returns policy for all the conditions, deadlines and procedure. The entrepreneur refunds payments received within 7 days, provided the product is returned in its original condition.

Section 22 – Governing law

These conditions are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. We always try to resolve any disputes amicably before starting legal proceedings.

Section 23 – Customs, import duties and VAT liability

23.1 All products are shipped under the delivery term Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) in accordance with Incoterms 2000. This means that the customer is fully responsible for all costs and obligations related to import into the country of destination.

23.2 These obligations include in particular: (a) payment of import duties, VAT or other taxes; (b) customs clearance, brokerage, inspection or handling fees charged by customs authorities or carriers; (c) compliance with local laws and regulations as well as any certification requirements.

23.3 The entrepreneur does not act as the importer of the goods. Legal ownership and responsibility are transferred to the customer at the time of shipment. The entrepreneur is not responsible for delays, seizures or fines resulting from the customer’s failure to comply with their obligations.

23.4 The entrepreneur provides the necessary commercial documents (such as invoices and product descriptions), but does not guarantee that they meet all import requirements of the country of destination. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify whether the product can be imported.

23.5 The customer indemnifies the entrepreneur for all financial consequences, claims or penalties resulting from non-compliance with import legislation.

23.6 Customers are strongly advised to contact the local customs authorities in advance to avoid any unpleasant surprises.

Section 24 – CESOP compliance

From 2024, payment service providers record transaction data in the CESOP system in accordance with EU rules. Couture Larie complies with this regulation, which may have consequences for the tracking and reporting of payments.

Section 25 – Changes

We may change these conditions from time to time. You will always find the latest version on our website. If you continue to use our website after changes, you accept the new conditions. We advise you to check this page regularly.
